Strictly 18+
All Afrorendezvous events are strictly for over-18s, without exception. Our events take place at licensed venues and the sale of alcohol to anyone under 18 is a criminal offence under the Licensing Act 2003.
Challenge 25
We and our venues operate Challenge 25. If you look under 25, you will be asked for ID. Please bring valid ID to every event, even if you are over 25. The door team's decision is final.
Accepted ID (original, in date, physical, with photo and date of birth)
- passport (any country);
- UK or EU photocard driving licence (full or provisional);
- Proof of Age Standards Scheme (PASS) card with hologram, including the CitizenCard and the Military ID card;
- a PASS-accredited digital ID, only where the venue confirms it accepts digital ID for that event.
Not accepted
Photocopies, photos of ID on your phone, expired documents, student cards, bank cards, birth certificates and any damaged or altered document.
Refused entry
If you cannot show acceptable ID or you are under 18, you will be refused entry and will not receive a refund. Tickets bought by or for anyone under 18 will be cancelled. Fake or another person's ID will be confiscated and may be handed to the police.
Buying tickets
By buying a ticket you confirm that you and everyone you are buying for will be 18 or over on the date of the event and will bring acceptable ID.
